Online private rooms: 2 to 6 players

Create a room, share a four-letter code and brawl with your friends, each on their own device. Bots fill the empty seats.

Private rooms let you play Stack Brawl online with friends, each person on their own phone or computer.

How it works

  1. Open Private room and tap Create room. You get a four-character room code.
  2. Tap Invite friends. On a phone this opens the share sheet. On a computer the link is copied, ready to paste into a chat. Friends can also tap Join room on the main menu and type the code.
  3. Everyone shows up in the lobby with their name and brawler. Players tap Ready.
  4. The host picks the room size (2 to 6 players), whether to fill with bots, and how tough the bots are, then starts the match.

When the match ends, everyone goes back to the same lobby with the standings from the last round. Ready up again for a rematch.

When things go wrong

  • Dropped connection? A bot takes over your board straight away so your seat keeps playing. Come back within 20 seconds and you get your seat back, board and all.
  • Reloaded the page? The room code stays in the address bar, so a reload puts you back in the room.
  • Arrived late? You watch the match in progress and join the next round.
  • Host left? The host role passes to the player who has been in the room the longest.

Fair play between friends

Your own board runs on your device, so your controls respond instantly. Everything that involves more than one player is decided by the room server: where attacks land, shields, knock-out credit, placements, sudden death and the match clock. That way every player sees the same result.

Rooms are made for friends. There are no accounts and no public matchmaking, and a room closes after 30 minutes without activity.
